Sub Inspector (SI) – MP Police mein officer rank ka pehla post hai. Constable se bilkul alag — SI ko FIR register karne, investigation karne, aur cases handle karne ka full authority hota hai. Yeh ek prestigious post hai — graduation required, MPESB conduct karta hai. 200 marks ka written exam aur physical test dono mandatory hain. Training MP Police Training College (MPTC) Sagar mein 12 mahine ki hoti hai.

MP Police SI Preparation – Strategy
Part D (IPC/CrPC) is exam ka unique part hai — jo candidates yeh part seriously lete hain unhe 30-35/40 aasani se milte hain. Ek baar section numbers mein confusion mat karo — BNS 2023 ke corresponding sections bhi saath padho (IPC 302 = BNS 103, IPC 376 = BNS 64, etc.).
Part A (GK, 70 marks) mein MP GK focus high-weightage wala strategy hai. MP ke 52 districts, 17 Nagar Nigam, rivers, national parks, famous personalities (Chandrabhan Prasad, Rani Durgavati, Tantya Mama) — yeh sab state police exam mein zyada important hain than UPSC topics.
Physical preparation: 1.6 km run ke liye roz 3-5 km jogging karo aur gradually speed badhaao. SI ka cut off Constable se zyada hota hai kyunki qualification requirement higher hai — toh competition bhi tougher hai. Target: 150+/200 written exam mein.
